CCD Updates

1)This Sunday, CCD will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by English Qurbana at 11:30 AM.

2) Adoration will begin this Sunday at 9:30 AM in the church, before the Malayalam Mass. It's a great opportunity for families to spend some quiet time together in prayer. Please drop your children in the church and spend at least 15 minutes with them in Adoration before CCD classes begin at 10:00 AM.

3)This Sunday, We are celebrating World Mission Sunday .For 2025, the theme is "Missionaries of Hope Among the Peoples." This inspiring theme reminds us that each of us—young and old—is called to be a messenger of hope, sharing Christ's love with people everywhere, just as missionaries do.Let us pray for all those who dedicate their lives to missionary work through the intercession of Saint Thérèse, the Patroness of Missions. A second collection will be taken on this day to support the Church's global missionary efforts. Please consider making a generous contribution to help spread the light and hope of Christ to every corner of the world.

4)All children in Grade 4 and above are required to take the Dei Verbum Bible Quiz 2026. Please note that 10% of the CCD exam grade will be based on the Dei Verbum Bible Quiz.

5) Students who completed last year's CCD program are automatically re-enrolled for this year. For new registrations or to update your child's information, please use the link below:

  • $70 for one child

  • $100 for two children

  • $130 for three or more children

Fees are due on the first day of class and may be paid via Zelle or by giving cash/check directly to your child's teacher.

1)Tomorrow, our church will be celebrating the Feast of St. Joseph with a common Mass at 10:00 AM. In a special way, we will also be commemorating the 25th anniversary of our Chicago Diocese. Additionally, we will be inaugurating the Holy Childhood Association and marking its anniversary. 2)Our Lenten retreat will begin next week, with separate sessions for different grades .One for children from Pre-K to 5th grade and another for students from 6th grade and up. The retreat schedule is as follows: Friday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Sunday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM We encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to spiritually prepare for Holy Week.  3) Please take note of our Holy Week schedule. 4) The  Syro Malabar USA Diocesan Eucharistic Convention  will take place at  St. Thomas Syro Malabar Catholic Forane Church, Somerset, NJ, from May 23rd to May 25th . 1)This Sunday (May 11th), we have a common Mass at 10:00 AM. We wish all the wonderful mothers a happy, peaceful, and restful Mother's Day. May your day be filled with love, relaxation, and joy! 2)  Our 7th graders are hosting a bake sale after the common Mass this Sunday. Please support them—all donations will go toward the Adilabad Diocese's  CCD program .
