CCD Updates

1)This Sunday, we will have CCD at 10:00 AM, followed by Mass at 11:30 AM.

2) Students who completed last year's CCD program are automatically re-enrolled for this year. For new registrations or to update your child's information, please use the link below:

CCD Registration Fees

  • $70 for one child

  • $100 for two children

  • $130 for three or more children

Fees are due on the first day of class and may be paid via Zelle or by giving cash/check directly to your child's teacher.

3)We are going to conduct a Safe Environment session for CCD Parents after lunch on  Sunday, September 28th. The session will last for one hour. Please attend this important session. If you have any questions, please contact our Safe Environment Coordinator, Mrs. Sharine Skaria(845-671-2990) or Meenu Ponnattu( 516- 661-8252)

4)Children from grades pre-K to Grade 12 will have a 30-minute safe environment training on Sunday, September 28th.. If anyone wants to opt out of your children's training, please inform your child's CCD teachers.

5)All children in Grade 4 and above are required to take the Dei Verbum Bible Quiz 2026. Please note that 10% of the CCD exam grade will be based on the Dei Verbum Bible Quiz.

6)We encourage you to join the Diploma in Theology course conducted by the Mar Thoma Theological Institute, beginning on September 28.

This program is designed to enrich biblical, liturgical, theological, and catechetical formation, helping us grow deeper in faith and understanding.

The total fee for all four semesters is $400.

1)Tomorrow, our church will be celebrating the Feast of St. Joseph with a common Mass at 10:00 AM. In a special way, we will also be commemorating the 25th anniversary of our Chicago Diocese. Additionally, we will be inaugurating the Holy Childhood Association and marking its anniversary. 2)Our Lenten retreat will begin next week, with separate sessions for different grades .One for children from Pre-K to 5th grade and another for students from 6th grade and up. The retreat schedule is as follows: Friday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Sunday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM We encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to spiritually prepare for Holy Week.  3) Please take note of our Holy Week schedule. 4) The  Syro Malabar USA Diocesan Eucharistic Convention  will take place at  St. Thomas Syro Malabar Catholic Forane Church, Somerset, NJ, from May 23rd to May 25th . 1)This Sunday (May 11th), we have a common Mass at 10:00 AM. We wish all the wonderful mothers a happy, peaceful, and restful Mother's Day. May your day be filled with love, relaxation, and joy! 2)  Our 7th graders are hosting a bake sale after the common Mass this Sunday. Please support them—all donations will go toward the Adilabad Diocese's  CCD program .
