CCD Updates 01/17/2025

1.This Sunday, CCD classes will be held after the 10:00AM Common Mass(St.Sebastian feast). The classroom arrangements are as follows:
  • Grades 10, 11, and 12: Big Classroom
  • Grades 7, 8, and 9: Church
  • Grades 5 and 6: Class 1
  • Grades 3 and 4: Class 2
  • Grades 1 and 2: Class 3
  • PreK and Kindergarten: Crying Room
2. We will be having a Parent-Teacher Meeting on January 26th, following the English Mass at around 1:00 PM. Each class will hold its own meeting, and we warmly encourage you to meet your child's class teacher and use this opportunity to engage more deeply with the CCD program

3.Please save the date for Valentine's Day Dinner Night, hosted by the 11th and 12th grade CCD students on February 15! Join us from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM in the Church Social Hall for a memorable evening.

4.Congratulations to all the Dei Verbum Bible Quiz finalists! We will honor all the finalists on January 19th after the 10:00 AM mass

1)Tomorrow, our church will be celebrating the Feast of St. Joseph with a common Mass at 10:00 AM. In a special way, we will also be commemorating the 25th anniversary of our Chicago Diocese. Additionally, we will be inaugurating the Holy Childhood Association and marking its anniversary. 2)Our Lenten retreat will begin next week, with separate sessions for different grades .One for children from Pre-K to 5th grade and another for students from 6th grade and up. The retreat schedule is as follows: Friday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Sunday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM We encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to spiritually prepare for Holy Week.  3) Please take note of our Holy Week schedule. 4) The  Syro Malabar USA Diocesan Eucharistic Convention  will take place at  St. Thomas Syro Malabar Catholic Forane Church, Somerset, NJ, from May 23rd to May 25th . Dear all, Below are the CCD Updates 1. On October 13, 2024 (Sunday) , the CCD students will lead the Rosary devotion after the 11:30 AM Mass. We encourage every family in the CCD group to attend both the Mass and the Rosary. This date holds special significance for the Catholic Church, as it marks the celebration of the  final apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Fatima . 2.  There will be a meeting for CCD parents and teachers on  October 20, following the 11:30 AM Mass . Please join us to share your valuable insights and thoughts.  3.  The CCD registration fee will be as below. One child is $70. Two children are $100. Three and more children are $130.Fees are due on the first day of class.
