CCD Updates-10/22/2024

Dear all,


1. There will be a meeting for CCD parents and teachers on November 3, following the 11:30 AM Mass. Please join us to share your valuable insights and thoughts. 


2. Starting this year, all children in grade 4 and above are required to take the Dei Verbum Bible Quiz 2025, which will be conducted on Saturday, December 7th, 2024. 10 percent of the CCD marks will be based on the Dei Verbum Bible Quiz.If you have any questions, please email biblequiz@holyfamilysmc.org or contact the Quiz coordinator Gisha at 201-310-9483



3. Please encourage your children in grade 4 and up to participate in this Bible Reading Challenge.Last Sunday, we distributed printouts of the Bible Reading Challenge . Let's take this challenge seriously and aim to read the entire New Testament, starting from November through April. Below link has details regarding Bible Reading Challenge. 4. Please support our Fifth graders and Sixth Graders for their bake sale this Sunday(10/27/2024). All donations will go to help the people in Tanzania


5. The 11th-grade class is teaming up with GotSneakers? for a community sneaker drive! This initiative offers a wonderful opportunity to give back by donating sneakers. You'll find a collection box downstairs, where you can kindly drop off your sneaker donations on the upcoming Sundays

Dear all, Below are the CCD Updates 1. On October 13, 2024 (Sunday) , the CCD students will lead the Rosary devotion after the 11:30 AM Mass. We encourage every family in the CCD group to attend both the Mass and the Rosary. CCD Updates regarding new academic year 2024-25

As our children step into the new school year,  it is our greatest pleasure and joy to welcome all of our families to  our 2024-2025  Faith Formation  year! We hope that you enjoyed the fantastic summer. At this moment,we would like to express our sincere gratitude and admiration for all the faith formation teachers who have generously devoted their time to make this program possible and continue to do so.We also extend a warm welcome to all the new teachers who have enthusiastically stepped forward to teach for the first time this year. We will begin our Faith Formation sessions on September 8, 2024 with a 10:00 AM  Holy mass followed by CCD Classes .
