CCD Updates-10/11/2024

Below are the CCD Updates


1.On October 13, 2024 (Sunday), the CCD students will lead the Rosary devotion after the 11:30 AM Mass. We encourage every family in the CCD group to attend both the Mass and the Rosary. This date holds special significance for the Catholic Church, as it marks the celebration of the final apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Fatima.


2. There will be a meeting for CCD parents and teachers on October 20, following the 11:30 AM Mass. Please join us to share your valuable insights and thoughts. 


3. The CCD registration fee will be as below. One child is $70. Two children are $100. Three and more children are $130.Fees are due on the first day of class.If you have not paid the fees, You can make the payment fees through the following link CCD Registration fees 2024-2025  You can also handover the check/cash to your children's respective class teachers.


4. Please refer to the link below for details regarding the Dei Verbum Bible Quiz. All students from Grades 4 to 12 are automatically enrolled, and starting this year, participation in the quiz is mandatory. Ten percent of the CCD exam grade will be based on the Dei Verbum Bible Quiz. If you have any questions, please contact Gisha George at ggeorge@holyfamilysmc.org.

5. The 11th-grade class is teaming up with GotSneakers? for a community sneaker drive! This initiative offers a wonderful opportunity to give back by donating sneakers. You'll find a collection box downstairs, where you can kindly drop off your sneaker donations on the upcoming Sundays

CCD Updates regarding new academic year 2024-25

As our children step into the new school year,  it is our greatest pleasure and joy to welcome all of our families to  our 2024-2025  Faith Formation  year! We hope that you enjoyed the fantastic summer. At this moment,we would like to express our sincere gratitude and admiration for all the faith formation teachers who have generously devoted their time to make this program possible and continue to do so.We also extend a warm welcome to all the new teachers who have enthusiastically stepped forward to teach for the first time this year. We will begin our Faith Formation sessions on September 8, 2024 with a 10:00 AM  Holy mass followed by CCD Classes .
