CCD Updates



Dear Parents,
Below are the updates regarding CCD.
 
1.As you already know, today is the start of lent and please encourage your child to participate in the holy mass this evening.Yesterday we distributed a Lenten activity chart to the CCD students. This chart can provide helpful guidance for engaging in meaningful activities throughout the Lenten season. Let's work together to make this season a time of spiritual growth and reflection for our families.

 2. We are planning to inaugurate Thirubalasakyam and Cherupushpa Mission League Unit for our CCD children on Sunday, February 26th after the 11:00 AM Holy Mass. Thirubalasakyam is for younger children who have not received holy communion (Pre-K to 4th grade) and Cherupushpa Mission League Unit is for children from 5th to 8th grade. This is to promote and inspire love and faith in Jesus that can bring hope, joy and laughter in their thoughts, words and actions. The kids will be provided with opportunities to engage in various activities related to Catholic faith and hence open up their eyes and hearts to see the needs of the less fortunates. "Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6).


3. We are going to have a Bible arts competition on Sunday April 16th. This is a great opportunity for our kids to perform their extra curricular activity in the church.Please encourage them to participate in any of the competitions.


4.Attaching the quarterly e-Journal of the Department of Faith Formation, Katechein. The e-Journal has a lot of resources and information that pertains to Sunday School and Faith Formation.

Dear all, Below are the CCD Updates 1. On October 13, 2024 (Sunday) , the CCD students will lead the Rosary devotion after the 11:30 AM Mass. We encourage every family in the CCD group to attend both the Mass and the Rosary. This date holds special significance for the Catholic Church, as it marks the celebration of the  final apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Fatima . 2.  There will be a meeting for CCD parents and teachers on  October 20, following the 11:30 AM Mass . CCD Updates regarding new academic year 2024-25

As our children step into the new school year,  it is our greatest pleasure and joy to welcome all of our families to  our 2024-2025  Faith Formation  year! We hope that you enjoyed the fantastic summer. At this moment,we would like to express our sincere gratitude and admiration for all the faith formation teachers who have generously devoted their time to make this program possible and continue to do so.We also extend a warm welcome to all the new teachers who have enthusiastically stepped forward to teach for the first time this year. We will begin our Faith Formation sessions on September 8, 2024 with a 10:00 AM  Holy mass followed by CCD Classes .
